Marrakech Retreats –  Terms & Conditions

Effective as of April 2024 – Applies to all retreat experiences hosted by MarrakechRetreats.co, including but not limited to Artisan of the Soul, Muse Marrakech In Style, and future offerings.

1. General Overview

All retreat bookings made through MarrakechRetreats.co are subject to these Terms & Conditions.
These policies ensure clarity, fairness, and the ability to deliver high-quality, immersive experiences across Morocco.

Due to the boutique nature of our retreats — involving accommodation, dining, personalised experiences, and coordination with local partners we maintain firm cancellation and refund policies.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A €1,200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot and unlock the full itinerary.

  • By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

  • The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Final payment is due three months prior to the retreat start date (or by the deadline outlined in each retreat’s payment plan, typically 60–90 days prior).

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations after the final payment deadline.

  • Single occupancy upgrades are available upon request, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds apply only to amounts paid beyond the deposit, based on the following schedule:

120+ days before retreat Full refund of balance (minus deposit)
60–89 days before retreat 50% refund of balance or credit towards another tour (minus deposit)
30–59 days before retreat No refund
   

* No refunds for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused portions of the retreat.
All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected].

4. Transfers & Substitutions

  • You may transfer your booking to another person up to 60 days prior to the retreat start date.

  • All transfers must be approved by MarrakechRetreats.co. & leaders

  • An administration fee may apply.

5. Changes or Cancellations by Marrakech Retreats

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Political unrest, natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of God

  • Public health emergencies (including COVID‑19)

  • Minimum attendance not being met

In such cases, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to a future retreat of equal value

We are not responsible for airfare, visa costs, travel expenses, or third-party bookings.

6. What’s Not Included

Unless otherwise stated, retreats exclude:

  • International flights

  • Travel insurance

  • Personal purchases

  • Optional excursions

  • Visa or passport fees

7. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)

All guests must hold comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation & interruption

  • Medical emergencies

  • COVID-related disruptions

  • Lost or delayed luggage

Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than 30 days before retreat start.

8. Product Returns (If Applicable)

If physical products (e.g., wellness kits, merchandise) are provided:

  • Items may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original condition.

  • Return shipping is the guest’s responsibility.

  • Non-returnable items include gift cards, digital downloads, and health/personal care products.

9. Code of Conduct

Guests are expected to act respectfully toward fellow participants, staff, and local hosts.
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

10. Inclusions

Detailed in the description of each retreat. Unless otherwise stated, your booking includes:

  • Predetermined Nights  accommodation in Riad Botanica and or Partners (twin share)

  • Amount of meals outlined on each tour/retreat

  • Guided private shopping & design tours

  • Artisan workshops & cultural excursions

  • Airport transfers

  • Curated itinerary (unlocked upon receipt of deposit)

11. FAQ’s

  • Q: I have a question about airfares and price. Could you please give info on how I would get there and back plus the price?

    A: We do not include international airfare in the tour price, and airfares vary depending on dates, airlines, routing, and how far in advance you book. Because of this, we recommend using flight comparison websites like Skyscanner, Google Flights, Kayak, or Expedia to explore the best options for your trip.

    Here’s how to plan your flights:

    • Arrival:
      • Fly into Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) the night before the tour starts, OR
      • Fly into Essaouira‑Mogador Airport (ESU) early on the tour start date (if available).
    • Departure:
      • Book your return flight from Marrakech (RAK) after the tour concludes.

    From Honolulu, there are no direct flights to Morocco, so you’ll need to connect through a major U.S. or European hub.

    One notable route: Newark (EWR) in New York now offers direct flights to Marrakech (RAK) — this may be a helpful connection if you’re traveling via the East Coast.

    👉 Airfare price range:

    Airfare from Honolulu to Marrakech (round‑trip) varies significantly depending on the season and how early you book. We recommend checking your specific dates through flight comparison tools to get the most accurate prices. Flexibility and early booking often help secure better fares.

12. Agreement

By submitting your booking and deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
